Community engagement strategy

Power generation from low pressure associated (waste) gas/drinking water

Renogs will pursue an active gas-to-power operating philosophy for the superfluous waste gas. Electrical power will be distributed in the surrounding communities, and will be used to generate drinking water there where scarcity exists.

Community trust funds

Renogs foresees setting up community development trust funds that will be funded through local Renogs proceedings (e.g. 2-5% of Renogs income from activities in the ancestrally determined communal territories). These trust funds will be managed by professional and qualified international parties. The aim is to provide assistance to community development (e.g. schooling, healthcare). These objectives will be determined in large lines by the local communities themselves.
