Local content / local capability building strategy

Compliance with local tendering and procurement (local) content rules

All key materials required for the new flow stations can be sourced from companies like ASCOM Nigeria and Dorman Long Engineering, both with whom Renaissance has entered a partnership. The new flow stations will be manufactured and assembled in Lagos, again through the experienced partner Dorman Long Engineering, and subsequently shipped to The Netherlands for high pressure performance characterization testing. After passing the qualification tests, back in Nigeria, the flow stations can be trucked to location in the field (typically the flow stations will consist of one 40ft container, possibly two.)

Development of local human resources competencies

After installation the flow stations as much as possible local staff will be deployed at all levels in the organization. Local staff can either be sourced from field operating partners or Dorman Long, but preferably be recruited from local communities. In all cases local employees will receive extensive training.
Necessity to deploy specialist expatriate staff is low as the flow stations can be permanently remote monitored controlled by V-Sat link.
